Are you a skilled lineworker who takes pride in keeping the lights on and your community safe? Washington Electric Cooperative is looking for a dedicated Journeyman Line Worker to join our hardworking, tight-knit team serving members across six counties in southeast Ohio.
In this full-time role, you'll put your expertise to work performing construction, removal, maintenance, and repair of electric transmission and distribution lines. You’ll also assist in maintaining substations, reclosers, sectionalizers, and a wide range of outside equipment that powers the communities we serve.
What We’re Looking For:

Strong communication skills — both spoken and written

A CDL Class A license with a clean driving record

Ability and willingness to work extra hours as needed

Dependability when responding to emergency situations on short notice

Physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds

Commitment to safety and participation in an on-call rotation

Successful completion of pre-employment and random drug testing
