Washington Electric Cooperative Trustees Paul Fleeman, Betty Martin, and Larry Ullman have renewed their Director Gold certifications through the National Rural Electric Cooperatives Association.

The Director Gold program recognizes trustees committed to growing their industry knowledge and performing their fiduciary duty to the best of their ability. It is the third and final program a trustee can complete through NRECA and demonstrates a commitment to continuing education, strategic leadership, and cooperative principles. In order to maintain Director Gold status beyond the initial achievement, trustees must earn three additional credits within a two-year period from the time their last Director Gold credential was awarded.
